ABOUT THE INTERNATIONAL MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS:

The creation of the IVMA’s was for the purpose of filling a void that previously existed. A void in which many talented and innovation Music video artists from around the globe were not receiving the acknowledgement and merit that they deserve for work that has truly pushed the envelope and inspired others.

This global phenomenon, although very young, is one of the highest and most prestigious Independent Awards whose mission is to honor the greatest achievements in the creation of Music Videos on an international scale.

Our mission is to salute the creators, the concepts, the executions etc as well as to discover new and emerging talent that we can help launch globally. To promote these artists is also to promote the appreciation of music videos as a true form of art.

SALUTE THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF THE WORLDS FINEST MUSIC VIDEO CREATORS

This years IVMA’s will unite the music community from around the world to pay tribute to the year’s most outstanding music video creators at a Gala ceremony. Winners from various categories will be honored along with the Life Time Achievement awards that will distinguish some of the world’s greatest men and women whose life’s work in music video creation merit the highest acclaim by their peers and audience.

DISCOVER NEW AND EMERGING TALENT

The IVMA for the “International Music Video Of the Year” invites passionate music video makers’ weather it be professionals or amateurs to be recognized. A board of esteemed jurors from around the world and other luminaries from the international music community have been chosen to sit on the executive board. These industry professionals will be looking for the best that the music video world has to offer as they seek to showcase veterans, emerging talent, students etc for the “New Discovery Award” that is awarded to the best “up-and-coming” artist whom is also then the recipient of a $5000 cash prize.

PROMOTE THE APPRECIATION OF MUSIC VIDEOS

Along with the competition, the IVMAs will then create an “International Music Video Awards Annual DVD” that will feature the Award-winning entries that will also then be distributed FREE throughout the international professional music community!
