The iMVA Awards recognizes excellence in creating Music Videos in a variety of categories, which include: best rock video, best rap video, best r&b video, best hip hop video and pop video among others.

The iMVA also awards those in the creative community who are an integral part of crafting an excellent music video. These categories are as follows: choreography , special effects , art direction , styling/costume design , makeup and more.
