International Music Video Competition

The International Music Video Awards (iMVA) is a one-of-a-kind prestigious, independent competition that recognizes and pays homage to music video professionals that demonstrate exceptional achievement in the artistry of music video concept and creation.

The iMVA is a prominent competition, established for the sole purpose of honoring and exposing music video creators and producers from around the globe. For this, the iMVA invites entries from directors, producers, bands, labels, concept artists etc as well as emerging creative talents that are involved in the making of music videos.

Each year, the iMVA sets out to select the top ten music professionals to judge its competition. Winning selections from the annual competition are then compiled onto an iMVA DVD that is then distributed world wide, assuring the winners the greatest possible exposure as well as heightening their global profiles in the industry.

ENTER YOUR MUSIC VIDEO TODAY

Any number of entries may be submitted by either companies or individuals involved in the creation and/ or production of a music video. This includes ñ but is not limited too ñ directors, producers, editors, DPís, stylists, PAís or others who have rights to distribution and who were directly involved in the creation and/ or production of the music video. The submission process is easy and takes a few moments.

ON LINE
You may complete your entire submission online using our online submission form . Simply fill out the form, upload your video/ videos and pay the entry fee/ fees with a few clicks of your mouse.

POSTAL
You may submit your entry/ entries via postal mail by using our online submission form or download PDF Entry Form and attach to each individual entry that you submit. Please make sure that your payment is also attached to your entry in the form of a check or money order. Music videos should be on VHS Video, DVD or on a CD in Quicktime, Real Player or Windows Media Player format.

ENTRY FEES
It is possible to enter multiple music videos, multiple videos into multiple categories as well as enter a single video into multiple categories. Please be aware that it is necessary to pay for each video that is entered into a category. This means that if you are to submit a single video into several categories, you must pay for each category that it is entered into. The fee structure is as follows:

PROFESSIONAL
$50 First Entry
$30 each additional entry

STUDENT
$20 First Entry
$15 each additional Entry

Please read the rules of entry carefully before submitting your music video.

WINNER NOTIFICATION
With the exception of the two awards that will be presented to its recipients at the annual gala award ceremony ñ the International Music Video Of The Year Award and the New Discovery Of The Year Award ñ all other award winners will be announced online, two months after the final submission deadline.
